About us
Founded in 2012, the Belgian Golden Glove is Belgium’s premier annual boxing award ceremony, dedicated to recognizing the country’s most outstanding boxing talents. The first official ceremony took place in 2013, marking the beginning of a prestigious tradition in Belgian boxing.
Each year, a special guest joins the event as we celebrate both male and female boxers, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the sport.

On exceptional occasions, the Golden Honor Glove is awarded to a prominent figure from the world of sports, cinema, or music who has made a remarkable contribution to promoting the image of the noble art. This distinction pays tribute to those who, through their renown and dedication, help elevate boxing beyond the ring. The recipients are selected by professional Belgian sports journalists.
